Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Lucky8 (the “App”) is developed and published by Mobile Airbridge AS (developer name MOBILE AIRBRIDGE AS; “we”, “us”, “our”), the data controller for the purposes of this policy. Our address is Sjøhagen 2, 4016 Stavanger, Norway. You can reach us at anna.mason.gb214@gmail.com.

This policy explains what the App does and does not do with information. It applies to the Android application and to this website. It is written in plain terms because the honest answer is short.

2. What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store on our systems, sell or share any personal data from the App. Specifically, the App does not collect:

• your name, email address, phone number or postal address;
• any account, profile or login — there is no sign-in and no account to create;
• device identifiers, advertising identifiers or an IP address;
• location data of any kind;
• contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera input;
• usage analytics, crash telemetry or event logs;
• payment or billing information — there is nothing to pay for.

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to share with third parties, and no data is transferred out of your device or out of your country by the App.

3. Why that is technically the case

The App's Android manifest declares no uses-permission entries at all. In particular it does not declare android.permission.INTERNET, so the operating system does not let the App open a network connection. An app that cannot reach the network cannot send your data anywhere.

The App is built from Android's own libraries (AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Jetpack DataStore) and the Gson JSON library. It contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no sign-in service and no billing or payment library.

4. What the App stores on your device

The App keeps your progress locally, in a single Jetpack DataStore preferences file inside the App's own private storage on the device. It holds two entries:

• your lodge profile — your Shard balance (play money only), total Shards wagered and spins played, whether you have finished the onboarding and the coached first spin, the calendar day you last opened the Hearth Gift and how many gifts you have opened, how often each of the 37 pockets has come up, your win counters used by the achievements (straight, split, zero, neighbours and column wins, win streaks), your biggest stake and best win, which achievement rewards you have claimed, and your last chip layout for Rebet;
• your recent spins — up to the last 60, each with the winning number, the stake, the amount returned, a short summary and the time of the spin.

Your rank and the Ledger statistics are calculated from those numbers each time they are shown. None of this is personal data about you, none of it leaves the device through the App, and none of it is visible to us. Other applications cannot read it.

5. Backups

The App declares android:allowBackup="false", so it opts out of Android's cloud backup and its file is not uploaded to your Google account backup. If you move to a new phone using Android's own device-to-device transfer, the operating system may copy app data directly from your old device to your new one; that transfer happens between your own devices and never passes through us.

6. Deleting your data

Uninstalling the App removes its private storage, and with it everything listed above. You can also clear it without uninstalling, from Settings → Apps → Lucky8 → Storage → Clear data. Either way the deletion is immediate, local and complete — we hold no copy, so there is nothing for you to ask us to erase.

7. Retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your local file stays on your device for as long as the App is installed and you choose to keep it.

8. Sharing, disclosure and transfers

We do not share, sell, rent or disclose personal data, because we hold none. There are no advertising partners, no data brokers, no analytics providers and no third-party service providers involved in the App. There is no international transfer of your data, because your data never leaves your device through the App. If we were ever required by law to disclose personal data, we would have nothing to hand over.

9. Children and age

The App is a social casino game: it depicts roulette and simulates gambling with play money. It is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, and therefore not from a child. If you believe a child is using the App, uninstall it from that device or use the parental controls in Google Play and on the device itself.

10. Play money only

Shards, the currency in the App, are virtual. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or cashed out, and cannot be converted into money, goods or prizes. There is no real-money gambling in the App, no in-app purchase and no payment component.

Shards come only from play itself, the daily Hearth Gift and achievement rewards. Nothing about the App is monetised through you, so there is no commercial reason for us to profile you. Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

11. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies in Norway through the EEA Agreement and the Norwegian Personal Data Act, and under comparable laws elsewhere, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over personal data a controller holds about you. We hold no personal data about users of the App, so in practice there is nothing to access, correct, export or erase — your local file is already entirely under your own control and is deleted by uninstalling.

12. Security

The App's data is stored inside the Android application sandbox and is protected by the operating system, which keeps it private to the App. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no transport to intercept and no server of ours that could be breached.

13. This website

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, shows no advertising and has no forms, logins or trackers. Nothing you do here is recorded by us.

The pages do load styling, fonts, icons and a scroll-animation script from public content delivery networks — cdn.tailwindcss.com, cdnjs.cloudflare.com and Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). As with any external resource, those providers necessarily see the request, including your IP address and browser user agent, and handle it under their own privacy policies. We receive nothing from them. Whichever static host serves this site may also keep standard server logs, which we do not use to identify anyone.

14. Changes to this policy

If the App ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if a future version requested a permission — we will update this page and change the date at the top before that version ships. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
